Taste: peppery, earthy, woodsy. Note: That pepper/spice taste almost definitely comes from the caryophyllene terpene.
Pros: As stated by several other people who have reviewed this strain, it definitely puts you in a euphoric state. This is by far one of the strongest strains I've ever had the pleasure of smoking.
Cons: Mild cotton mouth. This strain might be too strong for a lot of people. Now, it being strong is a plus for me, but it might be a con for others. Keep in mind that I've smoked over 100 strains. So, if I'm saying this is strong, then it's definitely not for the faint of heart. If you smoke this right before bed, you'll probably wake up the next day still feeling buzzed, and that's when the cotton mouth sets in. I wouldn't suggest driving after smoking this. Purple Haze may also have an off-putting taste to some. I, myself, didn't necessarily enjoy the pepper/spice taste. The toke/pull isn't exactly smooth either. Remember that this is a strong sativa, so it's gonna have that dry taste to it.
How does it make you feel?: Purple Haze makes you extremely talkative. It also put me in dance mode. If you have some good music playing, you're definitely going to want to get up and dance your ass off! This would be a great strain to smoke with friends as it will have you all talking to each other at a rapid pace. You and your group of friends can hit the club with this one! It also had a side effect of making me horny. So, it's good for sex as well.
Overall Rating: 4.5 / 5 stars. On the Sativa side of things, this is by far the strongest sativa I've ever smoked. When compared to indicas and hybrids, I would still put this in my top 5 and it would be in the #2 or #3 spot, out of the 100s of strains I've smoked. It's stronger than Panama Red (the infamous land race sativa)!
