If you've ever heard the names Outkast, Big Boi, Andre 3000, Cee-Lo, Goodie Mob, Dungeon Family, or Purple Ribbon... chances are you've heard BlackOwned C-Bone in the foray as well. He is an affiliate of those previously mentioned and has been featured on several of their songs.

Teaming up with DJ Aaries, the duo have released their "Strong Pack" mixtape on iTunes. The two were recently signed to a distribution deal through ADEDistribution by Makell Bird himself and are currently firing on all cylinders. "Strong Pack" boasts a long list of celebritiy features including Future, Young Dro, Tocarra, Big Boi (of Outkast), Rico Barrino, Konkrete, and more!

He was/is a member of The Purple Ribbon All-Stars, a collective of MCs working with Big Boi's (of Outkast) label Purple Ribbon, and was featured on the lead single "Kryptonite (I'm On It)".

     We are happy to announce that U.S. based non-profit organization Music To Stop The Persecution has recently released its latest project by Rise-Ascend & Direction, with additional production work by Atlanta-area based producer Big Juice, and it has people all over the world talking about freedom of thought, freedom of faith and other human rights issues directly related to China today. 

     The EP is called the ""Behind The Wall EP"" and it is available as a download on the company’s website. The lead single is an uplifting track called ""Hear The Call"". Using what they call the “Pay By Sharing Model,” Music To Stop The Persecution asks their fans to share the EP with 5 or more close family or friends in exchange for access to the new EP.

     The second single and EP title track, “Behind The Wall” is a powerful song vividly exposing human rights atrocities currently taking place in China – such as the horrendous practice of organ harvesting the Chinese regime has used on its own people.

     In addition to songs with heavier content such as “Behind The Wall” and “Waiting For This Day,” Rise-Ascend and Direction’s EP have bright, vibrant and energizing songs such as “Hear The Call” and “So Simple.”

Apple possibly phasing out iPods

Anyone with a keen eye for details, who also happens to be an iTunes user, may have noticed that the iPod button is missing from the iTunes store. Digging a little further, you may also notice that the iPod is missing in texts it was once in. If this is any indication of the new direction the company is taking, it would be clear that they are going to be pushing their iPhones and iPads a lot harder. Obviously the mobile market, in it's current form, is a major earner for the company. See screenshot below...

There's the iPhone and iPad button, but where's the iPod button?

Now, I will admit, the "coke" part is speculation, but given X's history and the fact that I am very familiar with the "look" of different types of highs...

i.e. I've seen people high off meth, heroine, alcohol, weed, cocaine, robitussin, etc.

... I think it's safe to say that this looks more like a COKE high than a alcohol or weed high

The life of a HipHop artist is becoming harder and harder these days. As subject matter becomes more and more scarce, and image more important, most unsigned artists are bowing out of the game gracefully.  
Boy Face has prevailed thus far without the huge marketing budgets, rap beefs, or gimmicks as a recognized up and comer in today’s  uncertain music industry. His new album titled “Think Like A Man” will show and prove why he continues to gain worldwide fans, and even cross market himself to MMA audiences on TapOut radio. The new “Think Like A Man” album will be released on Itunes on 6/12/12 through Universal Music Digital. Boy Face, who is based in NJ/NYC (born in New Orleans, LA.) remains an unsigned artist managed by Perpetual Motions Ent., but he utilizes the internet, and his worldwide networks to gain radio airplay, release PR campaigns, gain International club play, etc. The new “Think Like A Man” album is what the hiphop game is truly missing. This album includes 10 tracks, with song titles like “ Jerseylicious (Jersey Shore)”, “President Obama”,” BK Nets (Brooklyn Nets)”, and “Summer” Boy Face gives his listener a variety of topics they are familiar with, but shares his own unique views on each subject matter. Boy Face loves variety, so this album contains Southern, West coast, East coast, and New Age beats to give each listener a complete experience. “Think Like A Man” is a very enjoyable listen, but is balanced with some of the same psychological lessons in a read by Steve Harvey.  

The title of the album comes from Boy Face’s maturity on the project. Listeners can relate to every song, and each track gives a glimpse into where Boy Face has come from and where he’s going.  The single “Summer” will remind you of Summertime by the legendary Will Smith, and Boy Face even pays homage to the old school rapper/actor on the track.

REVIEW: Snoop Dogg - Stoner's EP

I decided to post my review from itunes here. I noticed a lot of people on iTunes hating on this and comparing it to past albums.

★★★★☆

I don't see what all the b!tchin is about. The reason this album wasn't promoted HEAVILY is because it's a PERSONAL/INDEPENDENT release. What ever happened to artists just being able to love, make, and release music? With that being said I honestly think this is a refreshing sound from Snoop and he's putting on some unknowns (a younger generation). So, big ups to him for that. My "opinion" on Snoop's music has faded over time. I loved The Chronic, Doggystyle, and Dogg Food... but since then his quality has faded and it seems like he's getting worse at rapping. 
This is why people love young, HUNGRY artists. They (usually) feel a greater need to impress people with their skills and that's why their 1st album is (usually) the best. Once they get rich and famous they relax and don't put as much energy into their music.

Boy Face is getting ready to drop his 4th independent album titled "Think Like A Man". This will be the second official single released from the upcoming album. BK Nets is a tribute to the NJ Nets as they move to Brooklyn. It's also a conceptual song dedicated to the streets. Boy Face is an independent artist but he is still interested in publishing deals, touring, live shows, interviews, collabs with major artists, ghost writing, movie offers, tv show appearances, a label deal (where he has some rights to his masters), and publishing. DJs interested in hosting upcoming mixtapes are also welcomed. Hopefully this song can make it into the BK Nets new stadium as the official anthem. Get the song when it hits Itunes as well. Support the Boy Face movement.

In the interim of growing up, Knova was blessed with a college career, in which he majored in business while attending on a basketball scholarship.  Well, one can say his college experience was straight out of a Michael Criton book; suspense, drama, intrigue, etc. All the aspects of life that could possible break someone, Knova used those experiences to his benefit and turned it into relatable stories. He used his life lessons to be the blueprint of his artistry.
While currently recording his second musical project “Love & Other Drugs”, Knova has immersed himself in all his talents. At the age of 21, Knova started his own company Eminence Inc., a lifestyle company which focuses on music, fashion, and talent development. He is not just a rapper but a business savvy entrepreneur.
