The 1st CD I Ever Owned: Salt-N-Pepa - Very Necessary

The CD was originally released in October of 1993, but I didn't get it as a gift until my birthday in August of 1994. I basically spent the entire year foaming at the mouth. Not only were they extremely sexy, but they could actually rap pretty damn well! IMO, they are still the best femcees in the game!

I found this gem on imeem. I didn't even know this song had a video, but it is one of my favorite from them and I feel it showcases their lyrical talent

Stuff I Wish We Had In The U.S.: Casshan (Casshern), The Original TV Series

They've released the 4 part OVA here in the states, although they botched the DVD release in my opinion. The released it on VHS then much much later released a DVD with English dub only. They discontinued that and re-released a 'special edition' with English and Japanese audio and English Subtitles. I bought the former. I wonder, since it's been discontinued, does that make it rare or more valuable? One can hope.
Also, a renewal of the series comes in the form of the current fansub for Casshern: Sins. Still, I wonder if the original 35 episode series from the early 70's will be released here in the U.S. Here's a glimpse of what were missing :(...
